Vasilis A. Paspaliaris, ND, MD, PhD

Dr. Vasilis (Bill) Paspaliaris, CEO of Adistem, Ltd., has dedicated his career to research in partnership with esteemed academic institutions, multinational companies and governmental bodies around the world; a thought-leading and highly experienced clinical pharmacologist and medical scientist having received medical and scientific training in drug discovery, clinical pharmacology, military trauma medicine, clinical trial investigation, natural medicine, Chinese medicine and regenerative medicine. He has championed the discovery and development of seven patented peptide and stem cell extraction, activation and treatment methodologies.

Dr. Paspaliaris has worked with and consulted for a number of pharmaceutical and biotech companies in Japan and Australia. After beginning his clinical training in Athens, Greece and completing it in Calcutta, India he performed military medicine for the French Foreign Legion in Africa. In early 2006,  Dr. Paspaliaris and colleague James Thornton  founded Adistem, Ltd. in Hong Kong. Dr. Paspaliaris has published more than 20 papers and lectures in a variety of medical fields, most recently in stem cell medicine.

He was knighted by the Greek Orthodox Church for his humanitarian accomplishments, and has been awarded three young investigator awards for his research. In 2008, Dr. Paspaliaris received an appreciation award from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists for his groundbreaking work on adipose-derived stem cells in Type II diabetic patients. Before finishing his doctorate at Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research, Dr. Paspaliaris graduated with honors from Melbourne University. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at Pfizer Central Research, Pfizer Inc., in Connecticut.
